Breakfast not provided. The pension was in a superb location. Great view from our room. The room was clean.

We didn't know what to expect. The elevator only worked on a couple of floors. The building was very old.

The location. In the very center of old Town. Safe car park in front of the hotel.

It's an hotel for junkies and prostitutes. I don't recommend at all, except if you are looking for a cheap and well located accommodation. I was shame to take my wife there. Fortunately it was just for a night. The stair lift doesn't work. Reception on second floor and room on fourth.

The location was perfect. You could access all the main sights by walking or tram/bus which is not expensive. Also it's a short metro ride from the airport. The hotel was decent, but should not get any star ratings.

The elevator only works for the 3rd floor, but their rooms are on the 2nd and 4th floor. The main door is open throughout the day so anyone can walk in, and the hotel is right in the middle of the square so it's very busy. My first room was a disaster. It was raining on the day I arrived and the whole room flooded from the ceiling's light fixture! A bit dangerous, either all the sockets near the ground. The hotel put me in another room with a view of the city which was slightly better.

Bad smell and very poor service

The location was splendid, especially the room at the side of the square. The rooms were very small, especially the bathrooms. There was no room to offload your suitcase, therefore very little space was left to walk around the double bed inside the room. Matresses were old an torn. One could not use the lift for personel use, walking up four floors was after a full day visiting the city quite an effort.

The view when we had the room in the front. We changed mainlybecause of the problem with the access of the shower. The door was too small.

The position is perfect! It is really close to the subway station, it is in a beautiful and central square. The staff is kind

Our room was terrible. Notwithstanding we had a reservation (and we had already paid) for a room with its private bathroom and it was very important for us, we did not have it inside the room but outside and it was also not only for us, we saw other guest to use it too. Furthermore, the first night the hotel did not have our room ready for us so they housed us in another one hotel.

My pillowcases had mold on them. No breakfast No elevator! No iron or microwave. No air conditioning Mold in the shower. Bathroom smelled. The fan is clogged with dust. Cant work. Room was so small 2 people cant move around !

Shower was clean with hot water. The hotel location is great. The room has a fridge (good for vinho verde and white port). Windows seal well so no noise from the square. Staff pleasant and helpful (young woman).

Very scruffy entrance from the Square in in serious need of sweeping. We doubted bed linen cleanliness! Door catches to the room and to bathroom need attention. I struggled to get out of the bathroom. There was a fan but no a/c.

Please take a consideration to choose this hostel because we found several bed bug in the room and body was covered with insect bites. The cleanliness needs to be fully improved.

Apart from good localization and tidy room, I was unhappy with some other things. Although it was mentioned that the breakfast was included but actually kitchen was under renovation! Also the lift was broken and my room was on fourth floor and the internet was also not really working!

Bed was actually very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and good size. Hotel is very central and had a vacancy at the right time.

Lift was out of order. Stairwell was dark and obstructed. Room was small with cheap furniture. Wi-fi didn’t work.

The room its clean and bed is comfortable for my children.

Need to look after the bathroom cause the shower is broken and difficult to set warm water.

Centrally located in Lisbon and easy access to all mode of Transport.

It is really in the city centre. The bathrooms in hotel Nova Goa (where we were accommodated in the end) are new, clean and beautiful.

It is difficult to write a review about Pensao Beira Minho. It looked really scary and terrible, but anyway we were told that we are going to be accommodated in another hotel. So, in fact we were in Nova Goa - 3 min. away. We were told that the good thing is that there is a breakfast included. The breakfast options were corn flakes, but the real milk disappeared early in the morning. The coffees and the milk from the machine were awful. Otherwise, the other options were only one type of cheese and some terrible kind of ham. The furniture is old and it doesn’t look really clean. The blanket is no coated and it at the same time covering the bed, so it is not clean. There is no option to stop your car in front of any of the both hotels - but you can risk it (at least the policemen are friendly and helpful). The garage where you can leave your car is 7 min. walking distance. Really not the level of accommodation for the 21st century.

Curtains placed far into the room letting in much sun, instead of right by the window. This made the room extremely hot. Furniture in very poor state. Lift out og order the first day. Breakfast very poor and served in the room.

Constant musty smell in the room. Washroom needs better exhaust fan. Washroom needs a makeover. Check for bed bugs.
