Pros:Great location, helpful and friendly staff. The room was very modern and pleasant. The pillows were real feathers! (This may seem strange to note, but is a big deal to a frequent business traveler.) I was able to easily print something that I needed from the business center. The breakfast included in the room was extensive and delicious.
Cons:The room was cold, and it seemed that only air conditioning (not heat) was available. The internet is unstable, which made trying to work from the hotel room a challenge. There was literally a *single* outlet in my room.This meant that I couldn't properly charge my phone and laptop because of this limitation. The outlet is at the desk only, so I couldn't charge my phone overnight (as I need the alarm near me to wake up.)

Pros:Modern clean rooms. Safe area of the city. Across street from main office of City tour Busses. Victoria and Albert Pier is center of tourism.
Cons:Archaic Wi-Fi system, requiring new username daily and with each log on. It does not remember you. Also, there is no CNN or BBC. Only SkyNews. OK if your British and want to keep up on parliament and London issues only.

Pros:The staff was wonderfully attentive. The location was perfect for our needs as tourists - it was just a long half block from the V&A waterfront and across the street from the aquarium and the main place for the hop-on hop-off buses (by the way, these were the best of similar ones we have done in other cities). The breakfast was ample and of high quality. It' history as a former maximum security prison made this more interesting than cookie-cutter hotels.
Cons:The wi-fi was slow and a bit hard to connect to. We actually needed to go into the hallway to connect an iPad, but once connected, it worked in the room.
