We enjoyed being connected to two other hotels so we could enjoy their pools and restaurants. The hotel is vey clean and here is so much to do that we never left the resort. The room setup could have been better. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in the East tower. They don’t have a dresser for you to put your clothes away. We stayed for 7 nights so we placed a lot of our clothing on the top shelves of the three closets they provided and some in the nightstands. It worked. They also could remove some of the furniture and turn the bed around, and not facing the sliding glass door. Then they could put a dresser in the room. Other than that, we really enjoyed our visit and plan to return again!

Cons: Everything on resort is at least double the price of US. Also they have sun block stations throughout the pool facilities. Don’t buy it in the gift shop as 1 bottle is $44.

Pros: This is a beautiful property with many different spaces and pools for your different needs (relaxing, family fun, adult party, etc). Very large resort with very large prices - be prepared to drop $45 every time you order 2 drinks from the bar - there are service fees and taxes added to everything you do. Well maintained and very friendly staff.
Cons: All good except the folio of charges and resort fees added to everything $$$.
The hotel is located on the western end of Cable Beach, 15 minutes from down town Nassau.

Pros: We loved the staff. everyone was very accommodating. the food was excellent and all of the servers were great!! The pools were awesome and so was the beach!! We loved the private Island. The water was beautiful.
Cons: We wished that the private island was open later than 4:00PM. We were told that they stocked Bacardi Rum, but they did not. The Piano Bar should be open later than 11:00PM. That way you could have the loud music at Crickets and the Piano music for the other crowds. We were told by the reception when checking in that they would stock our room with alcohol, but this never happened. It would have been nice to have a cocktail in the room. The butlers would reserve all of the chairs for guests, but we noticed everyday that many of the chairs were never used, so other guests could not get a good seat.

Pros: The guy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service and helpful getting a taxi to the airport.
Cons: This place was one of the worst I've stayed in. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, the sheets and towels had brown spots on them and the air conditioner was loud. The bed spread had cigarette burns and the room looked like it was straight out of 1972. Would not recommend.

Pros: Unique hotel with a nice deck with a great view of the ocean. The room was clean.
Cons: The hotel advertised a restuarant yet when we got there after a long day of travel we found it was closed on Sunday. We asked what was around and was told we had to take either a 15 min/$$ taxi ride to town and try to find something or walk down to the beach about 15mins in the dark to another hotel's restuarant! Neither were good opinions. The girl at the desk was not helpful at all, giving us no suggestions. Our room was clean but the lock was broken on the French doors leading to the shared balcony (a big wrap porch that circled the whole building), the lamp by the side of the bed was broken, falling off the wall, no air conditioning and the ceiling fan didn't work. We walked through the "garden" and the small pool looked more like a pond! Green! This was only a one night stay to be close to the airport but it was way to much money for what we got!

Pros: All inclusive was awesome - food and drinks were all excellent and a great selection of choices. Service was fantastic - all employees really cared to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Cons: The rooms and facilities are dated. Amenities in the room were old and some not working (hair dryer, smoke alarm). Everything just felt old and in need of an upgrade. But for the price it can't be beat!

Food was bad the room was just a room of a 70 dollar hotel and not to mention that When they gave us the keys the first night when we open the door there was people sleeping on the room. Pros: The location for this property was great but that is where it ended.
Cons: Aside from the bus boy and front desk help I found the staff to be rude. Food servers did not really care that there were no cups for coffee, plates for food or anything else for that matter. The bartenders were the worst I have ever dealt with but that may have had to do with all the spring break students. While I not young anymore I really didn't mind the loud music on my floor. Of greater concern was the smell in the tower I stayed along with the air conditioner in my room that would not cool the place down. The restaurants proved to be difficult to get into which left you with the buffet. This is not a place I would ever return to.

Cons: Everything else. The hotel's location is far from everything. The food was mediocre. The whole facility itself was very old. It is in strong need of being refurbished and they're holding off as long as they can. I definitely wouldn't stay here. Stay at the Melia! Awesome place and just got refurbished. it is also all inclusive. Trust me on this one!

Pros: The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast had a decent choice of items. We usually ate on outdoor patio for breakfast but quickly learned to bring our own coffee with us. Staff were very slow in offering beverage service.
Cons: To have more than one specialty restaurant open most nights. The facility needs major renovation but the staff makes up for this. Most guests were not first time visitors and were recognized by the staff which added to the warmth.

Pros: We were looking for a small hotel with a bar and restaurant onsite, on a beach with not a lot of people. A place we could relax for a few days. Compass point delivered on all of this and better. Food was better than expected and there are a couple of restaurants across the street. The beaches were near empty every day we were there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room we had (sea view) was well air conditioned and comfortable. We had a great time.

Pros: I was only staying overnight to catch a flight the next morning. The location was close to the airport. The air conditioning worked but was so noisy I turned it off. The shower had hot water.
Cons: In the middle of nowhere. Hotel does not serve food and no restaurants nearby. Half the lights didn't work, the TV didn't work. Hotel a bit shabby and neglected. Poor breakfast; cornflakes were offered but there was no bowls or spoons to eat them with - staff said the bowls were due to arrive next week.
