Pros: Every night in the suite, they laid out a tray with some nice port wine and chocolate. Comfortable hours for the delicious breakfast in their historic cellar. Terrific bed. The place is convenient to the tunnelbana (metro). The lobby and staircase feels like some sort of maritime museum or collection, very cool. We loved this place.
Cons: Hmmm... i cannot think of anything negative.

Pros: This hotel was ideal for the half a week I wanted to spend in Stockholm, old school decor, wonderful restaurants and wine selections, less than 10 minutes of walking from most of Gamla Stan’s sights. The people at the desk are incredibly nice, the rooms are very clean, and the beds are impeccable.

Pros: This is the most charming hotel I've ever stayed in. Great location, charming and unique decoration, and the staff went far above and beyond expectation.

Cons: miserable room comfort - oppressively hot in the middle of the night - air came on which was warm and couldn't be stopped - front disk claimed floors above oures required it and the air wasn't heated (baa humbug)- the bed covering was bundled so it was either the whole much too warm package or nothing - inexcusable for a high level high priced hotel

Pros: I loved the service and attention to detail. All my questions were answered with knowledgeable and thoughtful answers. i looked forward to the complimentary breakfast and the historical nature of the hotel was fascinating. The location was perfect, as it was right in the middle of old town.

Pros: Middle of the “Old Towb” of Stockholm, don’t need to go far for anything.
Cons: My room had its own bathroom, but most of the rooms (I think) had to share a common bathroom (usually about 1 bathroom for 3-4 rooms). Just a heads up, make sure your room has its own bathroom if you want it. Also no washcloths, only one towel size.

Pros: The room was in the lobby, about 95degrees in temperature and had a window at street level so the window could not be left open. The street was a pedestrian street filled with people out for a party. It was loud. I booked myself another hotel. I would never stay here unless you can sleep through anything.
