Access to Lounge was not accessible in Madrid even though Aer Lingus Customer Support and Check in agent thought it should be. They could not figure out why the ticket was not scanning correctly in the lounge. In the end they blamed it on it being a 3rd party purchased ticket which makes me hesitant to buy from Kayak in the future.

We arrived at airport around 9:30 AM and checked in by 10 am! Later we were informed that flight was 20 moms and later our flight being delayed by an hour and 10 mins. The arrival gates changed twice ! Plus traveling on the bus to and fro at both delayed further! This Placed an additional pressure on us in Dublin as we had to rush, run and clear both security and US customs. Where both sides were extremely busy with other flights to US. Luckily we boarded our LA flight just 5 mins before take off! No time for bathroom breaks or any shopping! Instead of relaxing flight it becomes more stressful due to timing and delays!

Flight attendants on this flight were very lovely. Hot food was terrible. Canned wine felt elevated and was GOOD. The aircraft was overall not very clean. Although this one was much more cleanly than the flight from Pisa. Pilots were great & landings felt smooth and safe. As I mentioned in my last review, this was my first time flying aer Lingus in many years and I cannot say I will be rushing to book again. This airline needs a real facelift.

First leg of my flight: flight attendants - not very welcoming & also ran out of the snacks that should have been included on my flight. (I did not receive anything during flight because they said nothing was left - only things to pay for) Shouldn't they have had enough for all the people on the plane? Also, my seat, window and tray table were filthy - I had to clean it myself before sitting down. Second leg was better in terms of cleanliness - but honestly, both planes were really not clean (bathrooms included). The hot meal was pretty gross. But the canned wine was fantastic and felt elevated. No blankets, only pillows and plane was freezing cold. Pilots were great and landings were even better! As a frequent flyer... this was my first time flying with aer Lingus in many years and I have to say... I don't plan to fly with them again any time soon. I was overall disappointed.
