Location was good
Power outage while I was there, Internet was down, There was trail mix all over the floor & the shower tub didn't drain.
The staff was friendly and tried to come up with solutions. Hot continental breakfast options.
Advertised as having a fold out couch when the couches were all tied down because they were broken. Mattress in couch only sleeps one. Lamps and other electrical compromised because couch was bending chained power strips against outlet. I pulled the couch off teh outlet to keep the lamps from shorting.
Room with balcony overlooking river, very spacious, clean, comfortable bed, powerful hot shower,
check in counter is beside entrance, people checking in have to stop immediately after stepping foot inside creating a constant jam because even during non check times people have questions are checking out etc
Breakfast staff was on top of everything during breakfast hours.
Toilet. Tub and sink needs to be replaced as they were permanently dirty. Holes in wall. Screen door broken and hard to open. Hotel needs lots of updating.
I mean, it's a $65/night hotel - what do you want? It was clean and comfy and the staff was really nice and helpful.
This place has improved over the old Shilo Inn but still needs a lot more updating to be truly nice. New furniture, bedding, floor coverings, some lighting, TVs and appliances.
Single pane windows, old drapes, wallpaper, bathroom fixtures and tile. Crumbling lampshades, tile around tub not clean.
Loved the pool and sauna, breakfast was nice
Neighborhood felt sketchy
Dirty bathroom with clogged drains.
after telling the kiddo for five hours of driving that we were goong to go swimming, the pool was "closed for 24 hours". when i explained our dissapointment at check in i was abrupty told that i could cancel my reservation. overall, the place is clean, worn out and out of the way. dont expect to walk anywhere and the free breakfast looked terrible.
The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was nice, although the floor was not level around the door or bath area. TV's and wifi were great.
This room was by an entrance, next to the pool and the breakfast area. The refrigerator was THE loudest one I've ever heard. So, unless you are getting a GREAT deal, THAT room is not a great room. Its on the first floor.
