The tahoe we reserved was not available. The assistant manager Chris offered us a minivan for much less than the tahoe. It worked great for our trip.Cons:

Pros:
Drop off was questionable - we get to the location almost an hour prior to their closing (Christmas Eve close at 12 noon - and had to go back home (10 minutes away) because left credit card - but was told they have 6 reservations and only 4 cars - so first come first serve as to who will get the rental. I thought that was absurd - never experienced that before - luckily did not leave to far away but feel sorry for those who got there and did not get a car for Christmas Eve travel.Cons:
The company should have ensured based on reservations they had all vehicles to accommodate. Luckily this site was not one where you pay in advance - wonder if that is one reason the company may be lax in ensuring they have what they need for all of the reservations - since they are not paid upfront they think it is okay to deliver that type of experience where you say "sorry" we don't have enough cars??2.0 Poor

Nothing about this experience was good.Cons:
Arrived and there was no truck for me. The clerk was busy conducting personal business rather than assisting customers. When I was eventually "helped", the desk clerk said this location has never had a truck to rent and they were giving me a minivan instead, which did not meet my needs. I had to goad the clerk into calling around to see if a truck was available at another location. I waited in an un-airconditioned office for over an hour to find out a truck was being sent. When it arrived, it had to wait on it to be prepped, so I didn't get the vehicle until two hours after my pickup time. On return, the same clerk as only one person working and he was prepping a car for someone else waiting on a vehicle. I waited 45 minutes to complete the return and get my needed receipt. I would have left the keys but the clerk warned me that their emailed receipts often "get lost in the email" and there is no way to get another copy if I didn't receive the initial email. While I was waiting in the (still) un-airconditioned lobby, I spoke with two other customers, both of whom were having similarly bad rental experiences. I will not use Budget/Avis again.Dollar
