There was a delay and none of the crew was able to explain what was happening. Instead they played with their phones.
There is less room for legs each year. is smaller and smaller in economy. No reclining seat. They don't even move at all. Very uncomfortable.

Iberia abandoned its own passengers by delaying an earlier flight. About a dozen of us missed out international connecting flights and the plane was still on the tarmac in "delayed" status. Uneeded headache for Iberias own screw up. Booking through Kayak added extra layer of complexity when trying to make changes.
Piss poor experience with Iberia planes and staff, serviced by British Airways, booked through Kayak. I cannot express my disappointment enough. Connecting Flight from Sevilla to Madrid (IB3947) was DELAYED because Iberia’s lack of staff checking people in (we were in line for TWO HOURS in Seville). That plane was DELAYED taking off and landed in Madrid at boarding time (11:00am) for Chicago flight (IB6275). We went through passport control and arrived at the gate at 11:30 (flight scheduled for 11:40). That plane was also DELAYED and still at the gate but agents would not let SEVEN PASSENGERS ALL IN THE SAME SITUATION board. There were other passengers who missed other flights. It is unconscionable they would not wait when the delay was 100% Iberia’s fault AND the plane was in delayed status. Also, no one was manning TWO customer support desks to help us change, finding a THIRD after exhaustive search. Iberia created an UNEEDED travel mess for these passengers. Subsequent flights getting home were also a nightmare and I don't care to go into it anymore. All I will say is that Iberia coded that the flight landed on time (it did not) and British Airways couldn't help, nor Kayak. I don't plan on using Kayak again OR purchasing a flight marketed/serviced by another airline because it adds too much complexity when things go wrong.
No service. People don’t speak English … the seats are so close from each orthers : no place for my legs and I 1.75m…
The boarding process from Barcelona was a very long and arduous process as they have to check that everyone has a covid test. There were no explanations about what was happening. They didn't really even announce boarding. The flight itself wasn't bad. I got the cheapest ticket so there wasn't food included. So, I brought food onto the plane.
My original flight had been canceled and they got me on a better flight with a shorter layover. I spoke to Roger on the customer service line and he was wonderful.

We purchased 2 business class tickets in June for a trip in September. We were downgraded to economy when we were told there were no seats left in business class. Still trying to get refund. Not flying Iberia again.
Worst, most uncomfortable seats I have ever flown in. Iberia Express a321neo I think

This was not an Iberia Flight, this was a LEVEL flight (even if you, Kayak, sold it to me as Iberia). The ground hostess was disgraceful, and only because of her nasty behavior towards me and my family, I am planning not to fly LEVEL ever again. I am not sure I will fly through Kayak either. Because of your deceptive techniques, I thought I was buying a flight with luggge included, but I wasn’t. I had to pay 550 euros extra in luggage. Are you, Kayak, going to return this money to me? That would be elegant. And also because of your deceptive techniques, I thought I was flying Iberia, but I was not, it was Level. It turns out Iberia does take cats on board, but level does not. So once I was at the airport ready to fly with my cat, I was told cats cannot fly level. Overall, a sad and aweful experience.
Up-to-date entertainment such as movies.
We got hit with surprise baggage fees because the baggage structure was entirely unclear -- we even looked for how to book bags with Iberia ahead of time. Also, we didn't know that the first flight would be entirely operated by Level. Two flights and neither operated by Iberia. That's fine, but it would have been helpful to know ahead of time.

Checking was smooth, staff generally all friendly, boarding a bit disorganized (I heard no announcements), plane clean and modern, etc. Check-in could potentially have been this easy though because the flight was pretty empty. You have to pay for everything including blankets, pillows, headsets to enjoy the (free) entertainment, any food, etc., but that was expected, and I have no issue with that. However, not even offering any water during the flight is crazy on an nearly 8 hour flight, especially for our kids. You can go ask for it, but they are not coming through to offer you any, presumably because they are trying to sell you drinks.

Left my luggage behind. Flight attendants were extremely rude. Got charged twice for my ticket and still no refund. Worst airline i’ve ever flew with. This flight was first class by the way and they still managed to lose both my luggage and a couple’s luggage who were seated behind me also in first class. Absolutely ridiculous.

Flight was good food mediocre seats mediocre for coach extra.
I am still trying to recuperate my money. I giked claim with Kayak and the insurance company. The flight never happened. It was canceled and I never received the email for cancelation. We ended up buying 4 new tickets for my entire family to come back to the States. Horrible experience. Oh and Kayak is horrible on resolving the claim. I am still waiting for a call back. I will NEVER use them again. Lesson learned.
Super easy process, make sure to check in on time, remember most airport is electronic so be prepared to navigate that, super short flight, no real time for drinks or snacks. Have your SpTH forms with barcode handy.
