|Top route||Zurich to Berlin Brandenburg|
incompetent ground team, three double seat allocations, admitting on board person without seat allocated, mess with luggage checking at the entry to plane (after gate!) and etc.
Honestly the only thing that consistently needs improvement on Swiss is their in-flight entertainment system. The touchscreens are glitchy and make it unpleasant for both the person using it and the person sitting in front of the person using it
Food was good - seats got uncomfortable after a few hours into an 8.5 hour flight
The seats were very comfortable. boarding was terrible. There are too many lines. After immigration and customs, we still had to do a passport check and then board the plane. Boarding took too long. Need better selection of movies and music. Food was ok. Airline should not charge for checked in bags.
Waited on the plane for one hour
They lost my bag. Plane was hot and wifi expensuve
They lost my bag. Plane was hot too and wifi expensive
Full meal at 11 pm was unnecessary. Breakfast bagel only after 7 hour flight was too little. Leg room was extremely cramped in economy class for a 6’1” man.
Plane was late due to weather
No food? Ryanair next time !
The travel was costly but the check-in desk was quite inflexible with extra weight and did not provide a bag to offload checked luggage. Crew interactions during meals were too hasty. An extra round of coffee would have been appreciated. All in all efficient and on time but cold and impersonal.
Again, at Zurich, I was I initially unable to get my connecting flight to Australia, or a seat allocated, because ' the 2 airlines systems do not connect'. After pressing for sometime I seat number and boarding pass was produced - I know not how but no choice of seat. I failed to mention on the Manchester leg. That online check-in was not working and so it wasn't until I got to Man airport that i learned of the problems and flight uncertainties. In 40+ years of flying this was my worst experience with a major European airline
I could not check in beyond Zurich as the flights to Singapore were overbooked. I was told not to worry, they will find a way to get you there. It was an appalling approach to long haul. The flight itself was okay but minimum service and no food.
Everything about the purchase, check in, boarding, the service, and the food was outstanding. We will absolutely fly Swiss Airlines again. There is one caveat. I kindly request the seat numbered 31K be inspected for its apparent ability to “over-recline” as my husband sat right behind in seat 32K and we quite smashed in. The woman in front of us acknowledged the dramatic lean back and tried to adjust, only to eventually keep sliding back further. Eventually my husband and I switched seats since he is 6’2” tall and I’m only 5’8” tall. We feel strongly the seat 31K needs to be tightened to negate excessive lean back. thank you!
LONG flight, courteous, friendly and helpful staff. Plane neat as a pin. Food great by current airline standards. Flights on time to the minute - what else could you ask for?
Neat as a pin, flood good by current airline standards, and flights on time to the minute. Staff very helpful and very friendly - what else can you ask for???
This refers to LX177 (Singapore to Zurich). This was a ghastly flight with the food being an outstanding disgrace. I did complain the CEO of Swiss who seems to have taken no notice. I would strongly advise anyone contemplating using this flight to seek an alternative carrier.
The crew was lovely. Friendly and accommodating.
The airline should advise on the time to get from the lounge to the terminal, as it involves possibly long lines at passport control and a tram to a separate building.
No entertainment. Flight attendants rushed through the cabin with the drinks cart, not asking if we wished to buy drinks (all were charged for) as if they couldn't be bothered to help the passengers.
Loved the Premium Economy setup
The crew were friendly, approachable, accommodating. I had a pleasant experience with United/Swiss airlines. Will fly again with them.
The seats were a little firm, but otherwise it was excellent
The most important thing to travelers good food and serve it professionally and the Crew must have someone to check the rest room and clean it also the entertain was very bad nothing to watch
A 'just OK' flight. Food was OK, but comfort in crammed seats leaves a lot to be desired. Late departure from Zurich but still timely arrival to Boston.
No food was served, no snacks no peanuts no pop no nothing.
It was a little strange when I entered my pre board information I had to do it 3 times!!
