Pickup was great, drop-off went well too.. But the next day they emailed me and tried to make me take responsibility for a scratch that wasn't there at drop-off. I stayed for the entire checkout and confirmed with the employee that everything was in great condition and there was no damage. Sixt site was very deceptive. Won't use again.

We waited in line for 3 hours. Then they refused to take our credit card because it didn’t look like a credit card. Ultimately they agreed to try it and were surprised to see it worked (which is insane by itself). When we received the car (a convertible), the roof wouldn’t open so they offered us a replacement with a fixed roof, which to us made no sense. We asked for a refund and hopefully will get it. Never booking with Avis again.

We rented a one way car rental from Las Vegas. The charge was supposed to be $100.05 for the rental. When we got to the desk at Avis they charged an additional $200 deposit. It shows up on my online credit cards as a pending charge of $300.05. I don't know why the $200 isn't shown separately to begin with....just concerned how the accounting is done. We turned the car back in the same condition, so hopefully we get our deposit back....

I paid for a mid-size SUV, they told me I was getting a mid-size SUV, and in the garage they had a Toyota Corolla Cross waiting which is a small or extra small SUV depending on where you look. It was definitely smaller than what I reserved and thought I paid for, but I did not have the time to go argue the point. It was clean, but I was rented less than what I reserved. I made it work though.

The car was returned with a full tank of gas, as confirmed by the Budget associate. However when I reviewed my emailed receipt, I noticed I was charged the refueling fee. Contacted Budget customer service, and they quickly agreed to refund the overcharge.

Excellent customer service, easy pick up and drop off, however car was dirty inside and out it doesn’t even seem like it was washed or cleaned at all, gas level was at half tank after informing employee they had me take to corner store where they used card to pay and filled up.

We waited for a half hour to go from the main rental facility to get a ride across the street to advantages, they didn’t pull up in the right spot and we were lucky we found them. We had no idea it was literally just across the street. When we got there they didn’t have any of the vehicles That we had chosen, there was one person working in a long line. We didn’t have hours to wait to get a rental car so we ended up just having to leave. Lots of upset people in that line!

Las Vegas Advantage agent cheated me with prepaid fuel even though I didn’t opt for it. She rushed me through signing for it even though she told me the final price without the fuel option & after I left, she sends an email rental agreement copy with that charged. Later when I talked to the agent, they said, they can’t help! Never thought company like Kayak would recommend these kinds of companies but learned the lesson hard way :-(

The fees were NOT transparent at all. After waiting in line for well over thirty minutes, the total cost of the rental was DOUBLE what we had booked through Kayak. The agent was nice enough and answered questions but did not tell us the total. She said there were additional fees but didn’t say what they were. She asked for my credit card and I did not realize she was charging for the rental amount until she asked for my pin. The total did not appear on the credit card machine or anywhere else. Only then, did I stop her and ask for the total which is the point when I found out the total was double. I asked her to explain exactly what the fees were again - she offered for me to come around the counter to look at the invoice but would not explain directly. Her only real explanation was that “this is why you don’t book through Kayak.” Despite having insurance from an outside company and AAA we were told we could not waive the insurance fee nor the roadside assistance fee. Additionally, we were given a sedan, not the SUV we had booked. Which gave us serious issues at our final destination which was in the back country of Utah. We were not told what kind of vehicle we were getting - just handed keys and told to click it in the parking lot. At this point we were so frustrated, we just left. Be prepared for outlandish fees by the time you actually go there. Ours was double the cost for a one week rental. It may be the same cost as other rental companies at that point but I really did not appreciate what felt like repeated attempts to hide the cost from me. Will not book from them again and may actually avoid booking rental cars through kayak altogether.

Unknown that Ace was considered an “offsite” rental. Shuttle service was convenient but it was a two shuttle service from the hotel we stayed at. Long wait to pickup, lots of people at desks just a detriment to customers to your success. Check out agent very professional and helpful. Car checkout and checkin staff were cheerful and pleasant.

Process was easy and efficient start to finish. Windshield washer fluid was almost empty and front window was not cleaned for a long time so it was difficult to see in certain conditions.

Very easy pick up experience on a Tuesday evening. You do have take a shuttle off airport to the main rental center, but there wasn't a line at all at the desk. Returning was also a breeze, no issues with the vehicle at all

The counter employees were not very nice. 4 people behind the counter. One customer being helped. No line. We waited at the entrance. No one acknowledged us so we walked up to a window. Employee snapped at us and told us to wait! Not a good start!!!!!

Overall good. However, we found the previous renter’s cell phone in the Qi console charger the day after we picked up the car (which was Sept. 8). This discovery required us making a special trip back to the Enterprise rental counter (at Las Vegas) on Sept. 9 where we waited in line and turned in the phone (that belonged to a “Chris”) before we could leave town and start our trip. We first called Enterprise and explained what happened but we received no help or guidance. Also we found an empty Red Bull aluminum can under the front passenger seat and an old credit card receipt under the driver’s seat. We hope that Enterprise was able to get the cell phone back to Chris (who we were able to talk to and explain to him that we were turning in his phone to the LV customer service desk).

Turn-in at the Ridgecrest office was superb! Car condition was excellent! Pick-up counter was manned with just two agents for regular customers, took about 30 minutes to get to an agent. Had no clue about being able to check-in on-line. I still don’t know what the on-line check-in entails.

There were soo many hoops to jump through as an international renter which were never detailed upon booking. I did not have a US telephone number which meant that they couldn’t send me a verification text message. They insisted I walk to a gas station and buy a SIM card which is totally unacceptable. I ended up buying an eSIM with a digital US phone number only to then be told it won’t work. I cancelled my booking there and then but am still yet to receive my refund a week later.

Great staff and service. Car smelled like wet dog. We stopped at an auto parts store and purchased some air sanitizer to help get rid of the smell. My friends were getting nauseous because of it. And we could not use the A/C because it made it worse. Luckily we didn’t have to drive far when we were in the car.

$500 deposit on credit card required. Only allowed to go to specific states. Was not aware of either of these when making booking. Facility was dirty and run down. Chipped, dirty tile, sloppy paint job. Customer service was poor. Employee was difficult to understand because he was speaking so quickly. Had to ask him to repeat himself 3-4 times during the basic conversation. I selected “rental agency’s choice” for my car. They told me I would be in a minivan then tried to upsell me to a Nissan versa. I declined. They gave me the keys and sent me outside without telling me where the car was. Told me to hit the lock button and find it myself. Went looking for my mini van. There wasn’t one in the parking lot. Came back inside and the employee pointed towards the corner of the lot where I saw a versa. At this point I realized they’d given me a versa and never had a mini van available. It had only been offered in an attempt to upsell. The car had scrapes on the bumper. It smelled like cigarette smoke and the windshield was visibility dirty. They also sent an extremely confusing series of charges and invoices after I returned the rental. Ended up having to pay $90 for gas. It also appeared I’d been charged $400 but they were actually returning the deposit. Got two separate charges for the gas so maybe they charged me twice. I tried calling them multiple times but their automated line say to email. I emailed this morning and haven’t heard back yet. I will not be renting from this agency again. They were the cheapest but everything about it felt very sketchy and unprofessional. I’ll pay 20% more to avoid dealing with this company again. I was especially nervous about renting a car that came with scratches and a cigarette smoke smell because I didn’t want to be charged for the prior renter’s infraction. The bigger agencies would never send a car out like that.

Pick up was slow because they only had one employee working but she worked hard to get the job done quickly, was professional and the process was smooth. Car was ready and cooled off waiting for us - since it was 111 out that was really appreciated! Drop off after hours was easy and we simply walked across the street to catch the free shuttle to the airport terminal. Great value for the money - I rented a full size suv for the price of the compact with the competitors. I’d rent from them again!

Had to walk some distance to their facility. (It wasn't located at the airport rental car facility.) Then, I had to spend too long looking for someone to help me get the car. Finally, they tried to charge me more than the agreed upon price. (They ultimately agreed to charge me about what Kayak had quoted.)

Had booked car for date at 7pm. Since we picked up car at 829pm, the paper showed that information. We asked the man at counter about when we need to return. He said it's 24 hours so that it will be 829pm. When we pick up the car and asked the lady at the pickup counter she said that it was what was printed and that it was 7pm return. We mentioned how the man had explained about 24 hours but she again said that what was written was that 7pm pick up time that was the one they look for and that ii need to go back and change that information. So we did went back and that man then said he will take care of us and the lady later. He reprint the form with the new pickup time as 829pm. So if we did not go back for the change and had return Ed the car after 8pm, will we be charged extra?.

Pros:

I felt like I was being discriminated. Since I got there I asked the employee if he had any car is available. The employer response we are all sold out. Then I checked on the garage there was a couple of them. I asked him if he could let me rent one of them and he’s like yeah and he gave me a very high price! He knew we wasn’t going to say no to that price! 250$ a day!!!! Then i book online and it was 110$ !!! I couldn’t believe him!

Fire him! Bad service!

Pros:

Car was not ready when I arrived at pick up and the desk personnel dis not communicate that to me, since I was traveling with my family....I took them to the garage area and waited over an hour for a replacement vehicle. CARLOS a manager there found us a replacement car and gave us free gas for our trouble as well
