Pros:
We booked online in Portugal for a three day car rental in Germany. The price was better than expected and we were also given a free size upgrade to a near-new Opel for mountain driving in Bavaria. Cons:
We arrived at Avis to pick up our car and was told the reservation was cancelled. We asked who cancelled the reservation, they said they did. We had no warning, they did not try to call or email. We then had to find a different company and was stuck getting a smaller car and paid more money.Hertz
