Cons:
Our flight in Chicago cancelled. We were unable to change the pick up location from Peoria to Chicago We were stranded in Chicago at night. We had to get another car from Chicago to Peoria and then the next day go get our Kayak rental in Peoria. We paid for a day we did not use. The other problem was booking through Kayak there was no opportunity to cancel. We will never book another car through Kayak.Avis

I picked up the SUV at the airport and they required me to sign the sheet that has the checklist for any damage to the vehicle? This is before I even see the vehicle that is parked a few hundred yards from the building? They need to have a person drive it up to the building and go over it before driving away! Once i got it to the peoples house I was picking up, I opened the back gate and noticed some previous damage from another rental?? NOW WHAT AM I TO DO ?? How do I prove I did not do it since I have the vehicle in my posession? A real bummer! I did buy the insurance, which by the way, is way too expensive..if they charge it to that insurance it will be fraud ?? Also the vehicle was very dirty and water spotted on the exterior which in turn makes it difficult to see any damage before driving out of the lot!!10.0 Wonderful

Pros:
I had a Focus and unbeknownst to me it was a hybrid model. This made for great mileage and saved on the gas expense. Despite being overpriced in my opinion, it was the lowest price that Kayak had available.Cons:
The entire infotainment system regularly shut off for the entire trip. While I had declined the Sirius and Navigation, it still made me unable to listen to the radio or CDs. The worker when I picked up the car was pretty condescending in her efforts to try and get me to spend more money. I had a one-way trip of about 600 miles, and I felt like the charge was pretty high for just a 24 hour rental.7.6 Good
