Pros:When we arrived at the airport we called for the shuttle as we were told. The shuttle took over an hour to pick us up, when it did arrive there was so many people waiting that we could not get on and we had children falling asleep on the curb as we waiting another 30 minutes.
Cons:Once we arrived at the rental place, there was only one person working behind the desk and one runner. It took us over 2 hrs to get out car. 4 days later I received a call staying I was late dropping off the car and my rates had increased.
Pros:Nothing
Cons:Worst car rental place I have ever used. Booked it for $176 ended up having to pay close to $400 before even getting the car. The guy who checked us out had no clue what he was doing and I ended up having to get a manager. when we got the car the tire pressure sensor light was on. The car was so low to the ground that you couldn't Even go over a speed bump without it scraping the bottom. When we went to return it they tried to charge us a fee for returning it early. Never again.
Pros:We waited over one hour in line for Allied to tell us that they had no cars left for rental despite having reservations. They also assured us that as cars were returned, we would be contacted. They never called us once in seven days. We left many messages. None of the other rental places had availability due to the holiday. We were forced to use taxis to go everywhere. It was a horrible experience as it was near impossible to get a ride home at night. We had to walk home on NEw Years eve which took over an hour. The only time we actually connected with Allied they showed no remorse and even said they couldn't make any promises re getting us our rental.
Cons:Horrible!!
Pros:The staff on check in was fast and saved me money on the tolls.
Cons:You can't pay cash for the tolls at all because they have activated epasses in there cars so they charge you a fee for a day regardless. also they over charged me on the price I was quoted from kayak they charged me at least 30$ more.
Pros:I rented this car thinking that I would be charged $345 plus the $110 I paid for insurance but I ended up paying $495 plus the insurance. There was just one person working when we arrived and he forgot to pick us up so we ended up receiving our rental at 5:40 when it was supposed to be at 5:00 am. The person at the desk was pretty rude and every time I read what I was signing or questioned him about something I didn't understand he would just brush me off and then ask why I was upset, when I wasn't. When I received the car he inspected it for dents with a small cellphone flashlight and asked me to help him because he couldn't see well. After I left, I noticed the gearshift was sticky with soda or something similar. When I returned the car the same guy was still working by himself and arrived late because he was picking people up at the airport. I didn't miss my flight because I asked someone else to take me back to the airport. Overall the car worked well but customer service was horrible and the hidden fees really made me overstep my original budget.
Pros:We originally reserved a Jeep Wrangler for touring Puerto Rico but ended up with more luggage than expected. We were easily able to upgrade to a Nissan Rogue which was more than comfortable for our family of 4 plus 6 suitcases (upgrade did cost extra $300 for the week though).
Cons:Our original flight was delayed do we didn't arrive at the rental office until very late at night. There were only 2 people working and took them 1 1.5 hours to process us plus 1 other family. When we brought the car back to a satellite office right across from our hotel we were hassled by the check in attendant who claimed we had a small dent in the passenger door and wanted us to file a claim with our insurance company! We took the car back to the main rental office (losing the rest of our vacation beach time) and they ended up taking the car without any claim since the dent was so small you couldn't really even see it.
Pros:Pickup from the airport was quick and convenient, the rental car was great.
Cons:We were charged more than 50% over our reservation rate based on taxes and fees (our reservation supposedly included taxes and fees). I've never seen so many ridiculous fees. We got them to waive a couple, but still the price was way over what we were expecting to pay. They straight up lied to us about the fact that you "need" to have an EZ-pass to drive on the Autoexpress (there are coin booths!). Then when we returned the car and were paying the bill, they "made a mistake" on the invoice and tried to charge us several hundred dollars extra above our already inflated rates. They corrected that when pointed out, but still, how slimy can you get?
Pros:Quick pick up
Cons:Car was dirty, service lights on and they had lots of hidden fees that doubled the kayak advertised total.
Pros:I liked that I got a free upgrade. The car was relatively new. The car had satellite radio.
Cons:The car didn't have window washer fluid! I had extra charge as if I dropped the car off to another location
